Presenting a collection of case studies! Improving hand irritation with cutting oils! Ever Chemical's cutting oils.

Improving hand irritation caused by cutting oils for workers! We solve various problems with custom-made solutions. *We are currently offering a collection of case studies showcasing resolved issues.

At Ever Chemical, we conduct research and development, as well as manufacturing and sales, of metalworking oils that are essential for processing precision parts, automotive, aircraft, and industrial machinery components. We believe many people face issues such as skin irritation from cutting oils and unpleasant odors caused by the deterioration of cutting oils when using machine tools. Additionally, even those who use machine tools may not be aware that one of the causes of rust on machine tools is the deterioration of cutting oils. Skin irritation and unpleasant odors can lead to health issues for workers, while rust on machine tools can result in decreased machine performance. At Ever Chemical, we utilize the latest technology and know-how to provide tailored proposals for each customer, taking into account primary performance (machinability), secondary performance (ancillary functions), and tertiary performance (environment and safety). We are currently offering a collection of case studies that demonstrate how our cutting oils have resolved customer concerns. For more details, please download the PDF or contact us. [Exhibition Announcement] Exhibition Name: Mecatronics Tech Japan 2017 Dates: October 18 (Wednesday) to October 21 (Saturday), 2017 Booth Number: 1C51 If you have concerns about cutting oils, please feel free to stop by.

Environmentally friendly cutting oil material "Anti-Mist Type Cutting Oil"

Proposing to suppress the generation of oil mist and reduce dirt within the factory! Less oil mist means a lower risk of fire!

At Daiya Kasei, we have developed an "anti-mist type cutting oil" that suppresses the generation of oil mist by applying special additives, and we propose a reduction in dirt within factories. Oil mist increases the risk of fire and floats around the factory, worsening the working environment by making machinery and floors sticky. Customers considering environmental measures are encouraged to contact us. 【Features】 ■ The amount of mist from the anti-mist type cutting oil is significantly low. ■ The amount of mist around the machinery and near chip discharge areas is drastically reduced. ■ On-site workers have reported improvements in the working environment. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Success stories using alkaline ionized water

Introducing examples of reducing oil agent costs and improving processing efficiency! We have also contributed to environmental measures by reducing water usage.

Here are some successful cases using alkaline ion water. In a case where there was a challenge to shorten processing time for increased productivity, the permeability and cooling properties were improved by alkaline ion water. The cutting speed increased by 30% from 230m/min to 299m/min, responding to the need for increased productivity. In addition, there are successful cases such as reducing the frequency of cleaning solution replacement and reducing surfactants. 【Successful Cases】 <Reduction of Oil Costs> ■Work Name: Shaft ■Material: SCM ■Processing Content: Grinding ■Coolant: Oil from Company C + Alkaline Ion Water ■Equipment: Centerless Grinding Machine *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Special Processing - Aluminum Product Manufacturing Industry

Improving the work efficiency of aluminum welding! An environmentally friendly solution case that does not use solvents.

We would like to introduce a case study of an aluminum product manufacturer that implemented Ever Chemical Industry's developed cutting oil. The company was performing aluminum welding after machining, but due to the adhesion of cutting oil, there were issues with welding defects. To address this, they were using solvents such as thinner for degreasing during welding, which caused problems in terms of work efficiency and environmental impact. 【Case Study】 ■ Aluminum Product Manufacturer ■ Processing Content: Aluminum Welding ■ Issues: Work efficiency and environmental problems due to solvents like thinner ■ Introduced Oil: AT-4 Ever Chemical Industry has newly developed "AT-4." When welding aluminum, simply wiping with a cloth has no impact on the welding at all, leading to improved work efficiency and an environmental benefit since no solvents are used. *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Cutting Oil.com: The Relationship Between Cutting Oil and Tool Life

By suppressing the temperature rise of the tool itself, it contributes to an increase in tool life!

Cutting oils and tool life are said to be very closely related. The development of tools began in the early 1900s with "high-speed steel," which is a material that does not soften at high temperatures even when cutting at high speeds, hence the name high-speed tool steel. Since then, the history of tools has involved continuous development to increase cutting speeds further and to ensure that tool life can be maintained even at high temperatures (i.e., whether heat resistance at the cutting edge can be achieved). Cutting oils contribute to extending tool life by minimizing the generation of friction heat and machining heat that occurs between the tool and the workpiece through their lubrication function. Additionally, they efficiently remove heat from the machining area through their cooling function by dissipating heat that spreads around the machining area, thereby suppressing the temperature rise of the tool itself and contributing to increased tool life. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Cutting Oil.com - The Smell of Cutting Oil and Its Causes

When the temperature becomes conducive to microbial growth, they proliferate and emit a foul odor! An explanation of the smell and causes of cutting oil.

Water-soluble cutting oils tend to increase in temperature as the weather warms up from late May to mid-October, reaching a temperature conducive to the proliferation of microorganisms (20-40°C), which can lead to the growth of these organisms and the release of unpleasant odors. These microorganisms include aerobic bacteria, which thrive in the presence of air (oxygen), and anaerobic bacteria, which reproduce in the absence of air (oxygen), both of which feed on the same organic matter. Anaerobic bacteria reproduce more slowly than aerobic bacteria, but they produce a strong odor reminiscent of rotten eggs, which becomes the source of the foul smell. Additionally, black mold, which prefers dark areas such as the bottom of tanks, can also develop at the boundary of the oil level in the tank. It is worth noting that because anaerobic bacteria reproduce slowly, it is often observed that during factory holidays or long breaks when machines are left idle for extended periods, these anaerobic bacteria proliferate, causing unpleasant odors to fill the factory. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] Water-Soluble Cutting Oil - Bearing Parts Manufacturer

Improving rough hands and skin irritation! A case study that achieved a reduction in total costs by decreasing usage.

We will introduce a case study of a bearing parts manufacturer that implemented Ever Chemical Industry's water-soluble grinding oil and achieved a total cost reduction. With the conventional oil, there were no issues during turning, but tapping operations suffered from poor tool life, requiring a very thick concentration of 3 times dilution. [Case Study] ■ Bearing Parts Manufacturer ■ Issues: High usage, stickiness, hand irritation ■ Introduced Oil: Eback SN By developing "Eback SN" and using it at a 20 times dilution, stickiness and hand irritation were eliminated, leading to a reduction in usage and an extension of tool life, which made total cost reduction possible. *For more details, please refer to the catalog. Feel free to contact us as well.
